Due to the growing demand in debt advice following the impact of Covid-19, we are looking for an additional debt supervisor to support our trainees, debt advisors and wider organisation.
As one of our supervisors you will provide technical supervision and line management, training and quality checks whilst maintaining a small caseload across multiple channels. You will be working with MaPS funded contracts and will need to either meet the technical supervision criteria including court representation . The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a team and setting objectives to support them to meet targets and to develop. A trainee position will be considered for the right candidate who can demonstrate they can reach the supervision requirements within an agreed time and undertake line management training.
You will need to have excellent organisation skills and attention to detail, a problem solver who thrives with targets and can support others to reach theirs whilst maintaining quality and empathy. You will have excellent listening and communication skills, able to negotiate with creditors, break down complex information so it is understood and support people with informed choices. You will be confident with IT and case management system, able to keep accurate records and comfortable with working remotely as well as face to face casework.
