Senior Relationships Manager (Fundraising)

£44,663 per annum
Our client is looking for an outstanding Senior Relationships Manager to generate significant new and sustainable income to sit within a major gift portfolio. This role has a strong emphasis on new business. You will have creative ideas for networking, liaising closely with the events team to support and drive new business initiatives and ensure that the best possible prospect management is implemented and delivered to grow new business into an established pipeline year-on-year. You will also have responsibility to manage and steward existing major gift relationships. You’ll manage relationships with future and existing leadership and volunteers, working with them to identify and secure donors and funds. Confident and approachable, you will be expected to attend events and meetings and develop strong, effective relationships to change potential donors into regular benefactors who believe in their purpose, ethos and values.
You will be a proactive and resilient self-starter with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding fundraising targets. You will enjoy and get energy from building long-term, productive relationships with supporters and donors. You’ll have experience identifying fundraising opportunities and generating income from , major donors, and events. Due to the nature of the role, you will be flexible with regular travel and occasional overnight stays within the UK.
