Project Manager
We are looking for a Project Manager to support the Head of Project Management and the implementation of the charity’s organisational strategy.
Position: Project Manager
Location: Swindon (M4 corridor)
Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 pro rata plus flexible benefits and onsite parking
Duration: 3 days a week (22.5 hours per week)

About the Role
Our charity’s mission is to bring the Bible to life around the world. It is driven by the conviction that when people engage with the Bible their lives can change, for good.
The projects are aimed at informing and inspiring people with the Bible's life-changing message. From large-scale, multi-year campaigns to small-scale targeted initiatives, they are delivered across a wide range of platforms to a variety of different audiences.
The Project Manager will encourage and drive the creation of a culture focused on delivery and excellent project management. Success will see you deliver projects with increased levels of visibility, collaboration and co-ordination, and the effective management and stewardship of resources.
Duties include:
- Plan, manage, support and co-ordinate the delivery of projects
- Supporting the creation of a highly effective project culture
- Support staff by creating and delivering project management training
- Support strategic/project leads in the definition of project scope and objectives
- Support project leads in managing changes to project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Build excellent working relationships with individuals and teams across the organisation
- Report regularly on progress and escalate issues
- Ensure that health and safety rules, insurance terms, contracts, copyright laws, permissions, visas, contractor HMRC checks and all agreements are in place before deadlines and are followed
About You
As Project Manager, you will be a skilled professional of proven ability, with a vision for realising the organisations goals. You will have a solid understanding of best practice in operations management, including project management; potentially qualified in one or more project management methodologies.
You will have experience of:
- Delivering excellent project and directorate support and logistics
- Successfully leading and influencing individuals and teams, bringing resources together to deliver
- Prioritising effectively and to handle a diverse workload
