Position Title: Early Literacy Quality Improvement Officer -LEAP

Location: Lambeth (Currently remote) The post holder may start the position while NCB is working remotely due to Covid-19, therefore all candidates must be able to work at home temporarily.
Status: Fixed Term, 2 Years - Part time (3 days a week, 21 hours)
Salary: £23,263.80 per annum (FTE is £38,773 per annum)

For over 50 years the National Children’s Bureau (NCB) has been building a better childhood for all.

We are looking for an experienced early years practitioner to support the communication and language development strand outcomes for early literacy in the home learning environment across the Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP) programme.

In this role you will model and disseminate good practice to nurseries, schools and childcare providers on how to implement the Making it REAL (Raising Early Achievement in Literacy) Programme through planning and delivery of home visits and literacy events to a caseload of families.

You will also support and develop high quality, early literacy experiences within settings and the home learning environment.
