Regional Head of Land
£72,000 - £75,000 per annum
Regional covering areas across Yorkshire, East Midlands and Cambridgeshire
Full Time, Permanent (35 hours per week)
Our client is looking for an experienced Land Manager with a passion for regeneration to join them to make a difference to people’s lives and their communities, to help move the great work they are already doing to the next level.
They will need you to be at the top of your management game with experience of the identification of opportunities to drive construction innovation including MMC, Zero Carbon, Multi-tenure product range design and sustainability.
You need to be a brave and collaborative relationship builder as you own and lead work to:
- Acquire land to fulfil an ambitious rolling five year operational land supply target of both short term opportunities and longer term strategic land – to meet or exceed the corporate plan.
- Oversee and manage planning applications and appeals to a successful conclusion and in a timely manner.
- Identify and secure suitable S106 opportunities.
- Appraise existing land holdings for regeneration of existing estates, infill, densification, land assembly, mixed use development or disposal.

Your experience and skills as a strategic thinker to take ownership of your service area; a strong communicator, who can inspire and empower your teams to ‘bring their best’. With experience as a Land Manager in a national or large regional commercial house building organisation, you will have the ability to identify and acquire sites along with potential development opportunities through a range of methods.
This role will cover the Witham area which comprises of East Ridings of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland and Cambridgeshire.
