Contract: One year fixed term contract to 31 May 2022, with a possibility to extend
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

This charity is responsible for a number of grant schemes across a variety of environmental and regeneration themes, including the ESFA Community Training Grants, TfL Walking and Cycling Grants London, GLA Greener City Fund, London Family Fund, Culture Seeds, Summer Sports activities, Stronger Together and Our Space Award.

They are seeking a Senior Programmes Officer to support the management, coordination and delivery of the Trust’s grants programmes. The postholder will manage and coordinate a number of grant schemes, coordinating day to day delivery of the project team, ensuring a high quality service is provided to grant applicants and recipients, project outputs are delivered on time and to budget and liaising and reporting project impact to funders.

The postholder will be an experienced project manager with experience working in grants or contract management and have the ability to lead a team in the execution of project work. Experience or interest in programmes aimed at bringing people closer to the labour market will be beneficial.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for the role, alongside the ability to manage conflicting priorities, work autonomously and organise workloads. A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and databases to maintain complex administrative and monitoring systems with high degrees of accuracy is required.
