The Role

Volunteering is critical to the success of Noah’s Ark. We value the unique role that volunteers play within the charity and believe that the skills and experiences of volunteers help Noah’s Ark to provide a high quality of care to children and families and enhance and enrich the work of staff. Volunteers also allow Noah’s Ark to develop strong links with communities which raises awareness of Noah’s Ark and of the care and support that we provide.

We are looking for someone dynamic, enthusiastic and capable to:

• Be responsible for the recruitment, placement and retention of all volunteers across Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice
• Manage and support volunteering across Noah’s Ark in conjunction with other department managers and Heads.
• Ensure Noah’s Ark attracts a diverse volunteer workforce and offers an exceptional volunteer experience.
• To work alongside the Deputy CEO to achieve Investors in Volunteering status.
