Job Details
TPP is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a bereavement charity, that helps support people who are suffering from grief. They are seeking a Statutory Funding Manager on a permanent basis paying between £34k to £45k. They are based in Richmond upon Thames, but you can be based remotely as long as you are willing to meet occasionally in Central London/Richmond.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing fundraising team and make a real impact on those who are suffering from grief or the loss of a loved one. The main aim of this role is to generate income from statutory funding sources of which they have had great success with. You will be generating funds/bids from local authorities or Clinical Commissioning Groups across the country to fund vital services. You will also be making bids to institutional sources including government department such as the Home Office or the MoJ to fund projects. Additionally, you will seek to develop and maintain relationships with funders and implement a consistent standard of reporting.
To be successful in this role you will have proven experience of securing grants and bids to deliver services. From this you will have experience of generating income from statutory sources including NHS/local authorities. You will have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets. Lastly, but importantly, you will have a compassionate nature and be comfortable to speak about sensitive issues with internal and external stakeholders.
