Resident Engagement Officer / Community Engagement

Our client is a community-led organisation where the customer and community is at the heart of everything they do and we have a strong resident majority board who hold them to account.
They are looking for someone to lead on their Resident Engagement. This is a great opportunity for you to shape community engagement to ensure the residents of Castle Vale are engaged and are given the opportunity to make their voice heard.
You will have responsibility for developing and implementing resident engagement strategies and exploring new ways of engaging with tenants. You will also lead on their Scrutiny Panel, Resident Volunteers, Resident Meetings and Block Champions.
Our client is looking for someone with previous experience of engagement activity in a similar customer and/or digital environment. With strong marketing skills and the ability to communicate with the general public, you’ll have lots of innovative ideas to improve on performance.
You should also be confident supporting informal learning, familiar with customer insight/data analysis and skilled at report writing.
