Head of Tech
Location: King’s Cross, London
Contract length: Permanent, full time
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum

Our client is the national fundraising charity for art. They believe that art can make you see, think and feel differently, and through their work they help make art more accessible to as many visitors as possible, wherever they are.

They give grants to help museums and galleries acquire works of art for their collections, share them with wide audiences, and support the training and professional development of curators. They are supported by their growing membership of 159,000 through the National Art Pass, as well as the generosity of many trusts, foundations and other individuals.

They are recruiting a Head of Tech to manage all aspects of tech around the organisation. The role will lead on the continuous improvement of their tech stack to meet their strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing a full tech stack and team, delivering agile tech development. They will have excellent communication and collaboration skills, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, tech and non-tech specialists. The candidate will be able to operate at a strategic level and identify where tech can enable the charity to better achieve its goals, as well as having excellent project management skills and demonstrable experience of delivering large scale technical projects in line with targeted timescales and budgets.
