Early Learning and Childcare Advisor
This is an exciting opportunity to join the national charity for children’s nurseries, at a crucial time for Scotland’s early learning and childcare, with an unprecedented level of public policy attention and government investment. We are looking for an Early Learning and Childcare Advisor to join a great team, based in Edinburgh.
Position: Early Learning and Childcare Advisor
Location: Edinburgh
Hours: Part time, 18.5 hours per week
Salary: £14,045.40 pro rata (£28,090.00 FTE)
Duration: Contract until March 2022

The Role
As Early Learning and Childcare Advisor you will play a key role in supporting the organisations contribution to policy development and guidance on the delivery of early learning and childcare. You will also have responsibility for developing and delivering professional development opportunities for members.
About You
The Early Learning and Childcare Advisor will have outstanding communication skills, be great at building relationships, and be able to digest information and understand and analyse complex issues. A sound practical knowledge of the early learning and childcare sector, and the national and local government policy context for nurseries are essential.
