Employment and Careers Service Team Leader

About Us
ACH is a social enterprise that provides a range of integration and support services for refugees. During the past ten years, we’ve grown from a small-scale housing organisation to a leading provider of integration, employment and housing services for refugees and newly arrived communities in the UK.
Through our training subsidiary, Himilo Training, we are successfully expanding our services to deliver training, development and employment opportunities to the broader communities in which we operate. Building upon our award-winning #RethinkingRefugee campaign, we aim to progress 25,000 individuals towards median-salary employment over 10 years.
We are now seeking an Employment and Careers Service Team Leader to join us on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday.

The Role
As the Employment and Careers Service Team Leader, you will lead and represent our Employment and Careers Service Team.
Based in the West Midlands and South West, this team delivers CIAG and training, supports our Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Programme and delivers our commercial pre and post-employment training contracts.
Providing effective contract and performance management of employment-related programmes, you will grow our stakeholder network and strengthen our existing relationships to achieve positive and sustained outcomes for service users.
Your role will also involve:
- Implementing and overseeing the delivery of ACH employment projects
- Developing cross-contract working practices and processes to enhance the team’s performance
- Ensuring all project targets are met, adhering to contractual obligations and funder requirements
- Creating and maintaining contractual and staff performance improvement plans
- Ensuring that work is delivered to budget and in-line with performance targets
About You
To join us as an Employment and Careers Service Team Leader, you will need:
- At least two years’ experience of audits and observations
- Previous management experience
- A commercial mindset
- A target-driven approach
- An IAG qualification at level 6 or above
- A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
