I am currently looking for a temporary Locality Manager for an amazing young persons charity based in Leeds. The charity offers a Young People's Housing Related Support Service delivered by a consortia of service providers, the charity being the lead provider. The service provides a wide range of interventions to prevent homelessness, four types of supported housing and pre and post tenancy support schemes for young people & young people leaving care including unaccompanied asylum seeker children. Young people can be single, young families or couples.

Main duties:
Supervise two local managers responsible for overseeing frontline service delivery which includes support and housing management duties.
Provide leadership, management and support two teams delivering housing related support to young people; Community core & cluster and dispersed provision. Each team will compromise of Local Managers, Support Workers, Support Assistants & Waking Night staff. The supervisory responsibilities will be shared with the Local Managers.
To provide an inclusive service, where the circumstances are created to work with young people to ensure there are no exclusions
To ensure quality support is provided to young people on their journey to independence through the development and review of constructive and meaningful support plans based on restorative and strengths-based practice which will be bespoke to young people and housed in Leeds.
To ensure that appropriate action is taken around any child or adult protection issues and in line with LCC's safeguarding, CCE & CSE procedures. Working together to safeguard children and young people across the wider community.
Responsible for the coordination and management of the 24/7 community core and clusters rotas, part of which is delegated to local managers.
Support and collaborate with the Head of Service and other service managers to develop the service and be contract compliant.
