Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an inspiring children's disability charity in Brentwood, Essex.

The organisation supports Essex families who have children, aged 0-25, with any special need or disability. They aim to inform, encourage and support parents so that they can grow in strength and knowledge and become better equipped to give the best possible help to their children. Over the past 26 years, the charity has gained an in-depth understanding of the everyday demands of supporting a child with an additional need or disability. At the heart of their work, they aim to help and empower the whole family, enabling them to meet the challenges they face.

As a result, they have developed a variety of services in response to the needs of local families and are ideally placed to offer these to families working from their resource centre in Brentwood, Essex. The charity are very proud of their ability to adapt and during the last 12-months have also offered flexible, remote support to their families via online sessions that have been so successful they see these as being part of their business plan moving forwards.

They are looking for a Governance and Funding Director to join the team on a permanent basis.
