We are SafeLives, the UK-wide charity dedicated to ending domestic abuse, for everyone and for good.

We work with organisations across the UK to transform the response to domestic abuse.

As part of the Drive Partnership – Respect, SafeLives and Social Finance – we challenge perpetrators of domestic abuse to change, asking ‘why doesn’t he stop?’ rather than ‘why doesn’t she leave? Together we can end domestic abuse. Forever. For everyone.

The Drive Partnership works with high-harm, high-risk and serial perpetrators of domestic abuse in 10 PCC areas and 21 Local Authorities across England and Wales to prevent their abusive behaviour and protect adult and child victims. And it works. A 3-year study by the University of Bristol shows that the Drive intervention reduces abuse. At the same time as delivering the Drive intervention in specific sites, we are working across the domestic abuse specialist sector, public sector partners and beyond to develop sustainable, national systems change that responds effectively to all perpetrators of domestic abuse.

We are looking for an experienced project manager to join our leadership team in delivering this innovative multi-strand programme of work. You will have strong financial, project management and relationship management skills. You will be comfortable with fast-moving, hands-on work environments. You can chart a path through ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances. You are highly driven and will roll up your sleeves and “muck in” regularly – in the true spirit of an entrepreneurial environment.

The role of Head of Drive Project Management Office is to work with the Drive Director and the Drive Heads of Operations and Development to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed and delivered effectively. The postholder will co-ordinate reporting to a range of national stakeholders and project manage the ongoing development of the Drive Model.

Benefits include a generous package including 25 days’ holiday per year plus public holidays, employee pension scheme with 4% employer contribution, Cycle2Work scheme, 365 days a year Employee Assistance Programme, flexible working

If this challenge sounds as exciting to you as it does to us and you believe you have the qualities we have described, please take a look over the job description and submit a 500-word cover letter, CV and equal opportunity form.

Closing date: 9am on Monday 22nd March 2021.
