Sixty-One is looking to appoint an experienced trust fundraiser to work 2 days a week supporting its work with people with criminal convictions. The positions key responsibilities will be will be researching suitable trusts, making trust applications, grant reporting and managing the trust database. The position offers a degree of flexibility in working hours with some working from home a possibility. 

You will need at least two years’ experience of trust fundraising and bid writing as well as experience researching and sourcing suitable trusts and foundations. You will need very good written skills and the creativity to be able to help trusts see the value of our work in their language. A knowledge of criminal justice issues would be a bonus but is not essential.

Sixty-One’s key objective is: To help offenders lead crime free lives by inspiring, enabling and supporting the church and Christians to be able to provide the relational and practical support they need.

Sixty-One has an office in central Bristol and works in a number of local prisons. We engage actively with the local church as a practical expression of Jesus’s love for people on the margins. The successful applicant will be joining a small but energetic team who are passionate about what they do.
