Are you an adaptable project management professional seeking a fresh challenge? Do you want to take on a meaningful role helping young people to develop aspirations that will inspire them to achieve their full potential? If so, we want to hear from you.

About Us

We’re Future Frontiers, an established charity that believes all young people should be given equal access to the guidance, networks and opportunities they need to fulfil their potential at school and beyond.

Our award-winning programme matches pupils to a career coach and provides meaningful interactions with inspiring professionals. This increases pupils’ engagement with learning and prepares them for their transition into sustained education, employment or training.

We work with over 60 business partners in a variety of sectors, from some of the UK’s fastest-growing start-ups to major banks and household names, such as John Lewis, Allen & Overy and Trainline. These partners directly support our delivery by funding and hosting our coaching programmes.

We are currently looking for a Head of Programme Delivery to join us on a 9 – 12 month maternity cover contract, ideally starting in early June 2021 or earlier.

As a member of our senior management team, you will have the chance to make a real impact on our programme offering and play an important role in our organisation’s future.

What’s more, dependent on growth and performance, there may be an opportunity for you to remain within our programmes team at the end of your contract.

The Role

As the Head of Programme Delivery, you will lead our amazing team of Programme Managers and oversee all aspects of programme delivery across the UK.

Your duties will include:

  • Creating a supportive environment for the Programme Managers
  • Providing constructive feedback to the Programme Managers to enhance programme delivery
  • Developing activities within our core coaching programme, coach training, pathways seminar and our Career Networking Event
  • Delivering a small portfolio of programmes (1 - 2 per half term), working directly with schools and businesses
  • Working with our Head of Programmes to develop programme delivery systems and build feedback systems
  • Reporting on key measures of programme success including pupil engagement, self-reported outcomes and other quality indicators

About You

To join us as our Head of Programme Delivery, you will need:

  • At least two years’ experience of managing projects to a high quality (including developing delivery processes, monitoring and evaluation)
  • At a minimum, two years’ experience of working with young people in a professional capacity
  • Previous line management experience
  • Experience of building and maintaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders, ideally including young people, schools, volunteers and businesses
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills alongside passion, a compelling nature and the ability to inspire others
  • A highly organised approach, flexibility and a self-starting mentality
