International Finance Business Partner, Central London – Charity, up to £45,000
An exciting new finance opportunity is now available in a large international relief charity, in offices based in Central London. The role will report into the Head of Finance as part of a large finance team and will be responsible for business partnering with an International region along with full financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- To lead on all finance related matters with regards to an International directorate
- Update the forecast and ensure nothing has been omitted or entered incorrectly
- To ensure that monthly forecasts reconcile to the agreed regional and Global Team financial framework allocations
- Analyse and report on consolidated budgets to specific region
- To attend regional management meetings to input on financial and business issues
- To actively engage and participate on regional strategic projects to ensure financial systems, financial controls and risk management activities are implemented appropriately
- To manage and mentor a junior member of the team (Finance Officer)
- To provide meaningful regional and global team analysis on financial performance
- To provide managers with knowledgeable, proactive advice and guidance on financial issues
- Lead on training support for the international finance team
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- MUST have experience with donor reporting and Charity Accounting standards
- NGO experience preferred
- Strong audit and internal controls knowledge
- Highly computer literate
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Strong relationship building skills
