International Finance Business Partner, Central London – Charity, up to £45,000

An exciting new finance opportunity is now available in a large international relief charity, in offices based in Central London. The role will report into the Head of Finance as part of a large finance team and will be responsible for business partnering with an International region along with full financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To lead on all finance related matters with regards to an International directorate
  • Update the forecast and ensure nothing has been omitted or entered incorrectly
  • To ensure that monthly forecasts reconcile to the agreed regional and Global Team financial framework allocations
  • Analyse and report on consolidated budgets to specific region
  • To attend regional management meetings to input on financial and business issues
  • To actively engage and participate on regional strategic projects to ensure financial systems, financial controls and risk management activities are implemented appropriately
  • To manage and mentor a junior member of the team (Finance Officer)
  • To provide meaningful regional and global team analysis on financial performance
  • To provide managers with knowledgeable, proactive advice and guidance on financial issues
  • Lead on training support for the international finance team

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • MUST have experience with donor reporting and Charity Accounting standards
  • NGO experience preferred
  • Strong audit and internal controls knowledge
  • Highly computer literate
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
