We are looking for an exceptional candidate with significant experience in operations, people and change management, who can lead the South region (inc London) of our national Witness Service. 

The Role

The Regional Manager is a key role within Citizens Advice Witness Service, providing regional leadership for an efficient, effective and consistent service delivering high quality support to witnesses. As direct line manager of a team of Area Managers, you will promote a culture of collective management responsibility, continuous improvement and change to deliver against our business plan and our funder’s requirements. You will also have excellent influencing, communication and writing skills as a key part of this role is building and maintaining constructive relationships with stakeholders such as HMCTS, CPS, and the Police.

You will take an inventive, responsible, and generous approach to your work, building on the expertise and ideas of colleagues across the team, programme and wider business. 

Who we are looking for

You must have significant experience of operational, people and change management across dispersed locations, and within a complex stakeholder landscape. Candidates will also need to have experience of strategic planning and business development and of developing successful relationships and negotiating with partners and stakeholders.

The Citizens Advice Witness Service provides a vital service offering free and independent support for witnesses in every criminal court across England and Wales.

The Witness Service has over 260 staff and 2700 volunteers and offers free, independent, impartial and confidential support and information witnesses to give evidence in every criminal court in England and Wales.

Last year, Citizens Advice helped 2.6 million people face-to-face, by phone, email and webchat, and we received 25 million visits to our digital advice content. We solve 7 in 10 clients' problems, and 4 in 5 tell us that advice improved their lives.
