Information Systems Manager

Department: External Engagement - Development

£41,526 - £49,553 per annum

Permanent, Full-time

Location: Coventry

Ref: 101154-0121

The University of Warwick is one of the most successful young universities in the UK. With a dynamic and forward-thinking culture, and a reputation for combining innovation with the relentless pursuit of excellence, it is firmly established within the top ten of all UK university rankings and currently 51st in the world.

Warwick’s Development and Alumni Engagement Office is on a similar trajectory. With the appointment of Matt Ferguson as its Director of Development at the start of 2018, the team has been challenged to achieve a three-fold increase in donations to the University, and to increase alumni participation in support of institutional priorities.

To help meet this challenge, the University is looking to recruit an Information Systems Manager to lead on implementing a data strategy for alumni and donor data.  This will include launching a new CRM and evolving our current approach to alumni and donor data management to enable data driven decision making.

The successful candidate will join us at an exciting time as the team has recently embarked on a transformational project to replace the University’s current alumni database (Raiser’s Edge) with the more advanced platform, Blackbaud CRM (BBCRM).  This offers the successful candidate a unique opportunity to establish new ways of working with alumni data across the university, at a time when the need for integrated digital platforms has never been more important.

The role combines information management with project management and stakeholder engagement.  It may be of interest to those with experience in CRM implementation projects, Project Management, Business Information Management, and/or Business Analysts who are keen to develop their expertise in this specialist field.  Suitable candidates may have worked in CRM/information management/data analyst/alumni engagement/fundraising roles and will be highly competent in using Excel, RE, MS Dynamics 365 or other bespoke fundraising/CRM platforms. Information security and GDPR knowledge are essential.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Andrea Crowley: a.crowley@warwick.ac.uk
