Accountable to: Executive Director of Support & Development
Hours: 28 hours a week 
Contract: Ends 31 March 2022
Location: Flexible with travel across Northern Ireland and occasional UK travel

Job Purpose
The Development Manager will be the representative and sole worker for Shared Lives Plus in Northern Ireland at an important time in the development of shared living. This post will work closely with the Health and Social Care Board and Health Trusts to support the development of the sector working with existing and new schemes and providers to ensure that more people in Northern Ireland can access shared living options if they choose.

Main duties and responsibilities

You will have responsibility for:

  • Managing the strategic development of Shared Lives in Northern Ireland
  • To influence policy makers and other key stakeholders and support our members to make local connections
  • To offer support to our members in Northern Ireland
  • Raise funds for the continuation and expansion of our work and our members’ work
  • Contribute to the effective administration of Shared Lives Plus
