Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) is the national charity for patient safety and justice. We are seeking to appoint a trustee with experience of accountancy as a prospective Treasurer. The appointment as a trustee would be in March 2021, with the likely appointment as Treasurer taking place in December 2021 (when the current Treasurer’s term of office ends). This will enable the appointed trustee to join the Finance and Investment Committee and shadow the current Treasurer before taking on the role. The Treasurer will chair the Finance and Investment Committee, be a member of the Executive Committee and report to our trustee board. We are recruiting other trustees at the same time and welcome applications for those also.
