Based in London, this role will be conducted remotely until a safe return to the workplace on a flexible basis.

Description

Amongst a diverse range of responsibilities, some of the most important for the Digital Content Editor include:

  • Create, adapt, and edit content, collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts to do so
  • Ensure web content is searchable, relevant to an intended audience, contains suitable imagery, and meets accepted best practices in usability, accessibility and website design
  • Work with the broader Digital team to optimise web pages, providing guidance on what good content looks like
  • Maintain a content pipeline
  • Use website traffic and behavioural analytics reporting tools to inform development of digital content

Profile

The successful Digital Content Editor applicant will have a strong intuitive understanding of what makes good digital content. This will include a desire to understand and engage an audience, how to write, and how to display on the web. To that end, this candidate will need:

  • To be highly collaborative - the ability to work closely with colleagues across the business is essential
  • Detailed examples of having gathered information, written, edited, and published content to the web
  • Understanding of information architecture and developing SEO content
  • Proficient in HTML for page layout and using Adobe Acrobat Professional, Photoshop and Dreamweaver
  • Experience of using web traffic and behavioural analytics tools for continual improvement and to produce reports
  • Attention to detail and excellent written English
