A well-established international charitable trust are looking for a Senior Manager  Advisory and Business Development. The successful candidate will lead the strategic consultancy service and business development strategy for charities. This is a key role in the charity's Programmes and External Affairs division that understands the unique qualities of the support and information that the charity provides for the sector. Please note this role is a 12 Month FTC.

Key responsibilities
Taking a lead role on the implementation of the Charity Advisory and Programmes business development strategy working with client facing teams, horizon scanning and networking to find potential opportunities to pursue then utilising relevant strategies to secure new work with both current and new clients.
Leading on strategy and assignments to achieve significant year on year growth in income annually.
Co-ordinate the production of quality proposals in response to business leads on behalf of the department.
Responsible for shaping and implementing the charity's strategy in grant making working closely with the Head of Charities, Grant Making, and Legacies, Head of Charity Lending, Head of Business Development, and Director of Philanthropy.

Person specification
Proven track record in delivering significant business growth in a consulting environment.
Strategic experience of designing and managing grant-making programmes and foundations
Experience of leadership role in organisations/programmes
Experience of fundraising, strategy, research, governance, impact measurement consulting and/or practice.
Proven experience of budgeting, reporting and analysis
