This is a really exciting time to join our local services team. We are changing the way we deliver services and support our volunteers, and you will play an important part in that change.
You will work within the specified area developing and supporting Epilepsy Action’s community-based activity, including the network of volunteers, groups and branches, the delivery of local initiatives, and engaging people affected by epilepsy in local and national initiatives. You will have a particular focus on the development of our new local virtual groups.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person for this exciting new role. You will have experience of working with and supporting volunteers remotely, with excellent administration and organisation skills. You will also have experience of delivering training remotely to a wide audience and will need the ability to manage a diverse workload and be skilled at prioritising your work.
The work is home based and involves working occasional evenings, weekends and some unsociable hours. We will offer you great flexible working conditions, a range of employee benefits including a contributory pension plan and a commitment to develop your skills and provide necessary training.

About Us
Epilepsy Action is the UK’s leading epilepsy charity focusing on improving lives for people with epilepsy and raising awareness about an invisible condition. To achieve this, we must improve and influence across a wide range of issues that impact our community.
We’re proud of the work we do to create a fairer and more just world. However, despite all of our hard work, we know that we’re not as diverse as we’d like to be and we’re actively working to change that. We welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds, and we particularly encourage candidates from BAME backgrounds and candidates with disabilities to get in touch and apply.
If you’re excited to help shape the future of a charity that makes a difference to the lives of over 600,000 people in the UK with epilepsy, we’d love to hear from you.
