Third Sector Engagement Officer (2 posts)

Salary Scp 27 – 30: £24,175 - £26,822 pa
Starting Salary Scp 27: £24,175 pa
37 hours per week
These posts are funded by GAVO and are fixed term for twelve months

Two posts covering (1) Caerphilly/Blaenau Gwent and (2) Newport/Monmouthshire, based in GAVO offices in the areas

This is an exciting opportunity for two motivated, well-organised individuals with knowledge of the Third Sector and experience of partnership working across all sectors.  You will need an understanding of the challenges faced by community organisations and a passion for working with voluntary organisations to support their growth and sustainability. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and build key relationships with members of third sector organisations and statutory partners.

You will have a flexible, organised approach to a busy workload with the ability to deliver presentations and meet deadlines. Well-developed ICT skills and competency in the use of digital office systems & social media platforms are essential.
