Can you run the UK’s only public engagement scheme specifically for engineers?
If so, we want to hear from you – we are looking for an experienced Manager, Public Engagement to run the Ingenious Programme, our flagship public engagement programme offering grants of up to £30,000 to teams of engineers and public engagement professionals to develop new and better capacity to engage the public across the UK with engineering.
A highly competent administrator, you will have experience in public engagement, ideally in engineering, science or related sectors. Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have proven budget and project management experience. You will have an interest in and knowledge of science, technology or engineering and an understanding of the breadth of public engagement, ideally combined with a good contact network in the public engagement community.
Working as part of our Communications and Engagement team, you will be highly motivated and thrive on having the opportunity to develop your own programme of activity. You will be a creative ideas person with flawless execution who delivers projects to deadline and has a reasoned, analytical outlook with the ability to exercise good judgement.
