About this job
The role of Volunteer Systems and Data Officer sits within the organisation's new Performance and Policy team. This team works with volunteers and colleagues from across the organisation to manage decisions that affect the operations of their volunteer community networks.

This role will work with volunteers and colleagues in the Digital, Data and IT teams, to help ensure that the technical systems used to support the vital work of the charity's volunteer groups (such as their Web to Print system, O365 accounts, online shop and volunteer portal etc) meet the needs of their volunteers and the organisation, and will ensure that volunteers are involved in the development, implementation and maintenance of those systems. The post holder will also be responsible for developing the data management systems within the Community Networks team to produce management information that will help us understand impact and compliance in relation to our services.

The post holder will have experience of working with end users and IT colleagues to help develop and implement user friendly, accessible and effective IT systems to support service delivery. They should have experience of producing management information from a range of data sources, and the ability to interpret and present this information in a way that will help colleagues to monitor and improve performance and impact.

The organisation offers 35 days annual leave (including bank holidays), travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

The organisation is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on their great history and will drive them towards achieving their mission and vision as they embark on their new 5 year strategy.

Part of this exciting transformation will include an office move from their current National Centre in Cricklewood, NW London to a different location in London. They are currently defining where and what type of accommodation this will be and they really want their staff to be involved in that decision.
