Head of Mass Participation Events

TPP Fundraising and Development team are delighted to be working on an exciting opportunity for an amazing children's focused charity. We are looking to recruit a Head of Mass Participation Events to deliver an exciting mass participation event around some of London's well-known landmarks. This will be a 12-month contract with possibility of extension.

Salary: £48,000
Contract length: 12 months

As the Head of Mass Participation Events you will oversee the creation, development, and delivery of a new bespoke mass participation event for the charity. You will be responsible for creating a long term and highly profitable event that will reach income target that have been set. A key aspect of the role is to ensure any outstanding permission required for delivery of the event is secured. You will also manage all relationships with external stakeholders, most importantly with the on the day event delivery company.

They are looking for someone who has extensive knowledge and experience in the delivery of challenge/mass participation events within the charity sector. Having the ability to manage multiple projects at one time will be key to the success of this role. You will have significant experience in building strong relationships with stakeholders both internally as well as externally so of which will be senior level members of business.
