Business Support Officer
Location: Leicester with some home working (currently working remotely)
Hours: Full Time – 36 Hours per week
Salary: £24,000 per annum
The Business Support Officer will take responsibility for a variety of administrative areas within the Operations team delivering clear processes, robust record keeping and get it right every time attention to detail. Within a varied range of tasks key areas include HR administration, processing and administrative support to the finance team, preparing and keeping records of project & grant paperwork and providing executive support to the Chief Operating Officer.
Home-Start is a vibrant community network of trained volunteers helping families with young children through challenging times. Over 13,000 volunteers support over 27,000 families and nearly 56,000 children each year through compassionate, confidential help to parents when they need us most.
The Home-Start movement is built on the impact of 186 local Home-Starts across four nations, affiliated to a central body at the heart of the federation, Home-Start UK.
This role can be office/home-office based with a minimum of 2 days a week spent at our central Leicester office from early 2021 onwards once the office has fully reopened.
