TPP Fundraising and Development team are currently working on an exciting opportunity for someone with fundraising experience to be part of a small and successful team. This Philanthropy Manager will work in the Major Gifts department for this leading children's charity you will generate significant income from statutory funders at both a local and national level. Despite these tough and testing times they have seen a lot of success which has meant that they are in a strong position to hit income targets.

Salary: £27,000 to £30,000

Work as the Philanthropy Manager in this newly-formed Statutory Team you will be responsible for increasing the number of successful grants awarded to the charity from government funders working towards an annual income target of around £2.8 million. You will manage a portfolio of your own funders as well as support on the large-scale bids with the Senior Manager. Teamwork is key as you will work closely with the Senior Philanthropy Manager and Associate Head to deliver success within this area. They are looking for someone who can be strategic in their approach, look at trends in the market and plan the best course of action off the back of this.

They are looking for someone who has experience in either Trusts or Statutory funding, having put together successful bids and securing funding through these means. The role will also need someone who thinks strategic as the role will need someone to look for opportunities within the market. Your written and verbal skills are critical part of this role along with your relationship management skills as you will build lasting relationships with both colleagues and funders.
