TPP Fundraising and Development team are delighted to be supporting an amazing national youth charity as they look to grow their team with the recruitment of a Senior Philanthropy Manager. This is an exciting and challenging role that will see you focus on funding from within the Essex region. This charity gives young people from disadvantaged areas somewhere they can access support and advice. For this, funding is vital for them to continue the great work they do.

Job Title: Senior Philanthropy Manager - Essex
Location: Essex
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000
Would consider 4 days a week

Working as the Senior Philanthropy Manager you will be responsible for the generation of gifts from high net worth individuals and companies within the Essex area. You will develop a pipeline of donors that have a particular interest in supporting the youth sector. You will provide high quality stewardship to engage and enthuse prospects or existing donors. You will also work closely with the wider fundraising team, mostly with the Manager of London/South regions, to share ideas as well as developing strategy.

You will have experience as a major donor fundraiser with a successful income track record with a natural and confident approach to 'making the ask'. You will know how to develop a new prospect pipeline to engage highly influential individuals/companies who can support the charity with gifts of over £25,000. Finally, you will work closely with the Head of department to devise and deliver a fundraising strategy.
