Service Manager – Support Services  (Housing)



Full Time, Permanent


Our client has an opportunity for a Service Manager - Support Services to join their Customer Experience Management team based in Northallerton but covering North Yorkshire. 


The Role

The main purpose of this role is to provide leadership and strategic direction across organisational teams to ensure an innovative, customer focused and cost effective services to their customers. You’ll ensure an excellent customer experience is provided and manage internal teams, embedding a culture that delivers results and service excellence.


You will review new business opportunities and introduce service improvement plans, developing growth strategies to increase opportunities for the Association.


As the expert for the Care and Support service you’ll provide advice and guidance to colleagues including Senior Management, resolving complex problems and continually reviewing, developing and implementing operational policies, procedures and standards for the service areas. You will be the Safeguarding Lead for the Association


What they are looking for:

  • Extensive experience at a senior management level of managing a housing care and support service

  • Experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures

  • Ability to produce clear and concise reports

  • Experience of managing budgets

  • A good understanding and application of Health and Safety practices

  • Good analytical skills with ability to analyse financial and other statistical information

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car
