As an integral part of the Fundraising & Communications team in creating compelling and engaging asks, you will help inspire and motivate supporters throughout Oxfordshire and beyond to grow net income to benefit patients, staff and families across the hospital network.
The Database and Insight Officer will manage the supporter CRM database (Harlequin) ensuring that it is used to its full potential in storing accurate and appropriate information. Your experience in managing a CRM/SRM system will mean you are fully competent using Excel and reporting tools to manage effective data importing, segmentation and financial reconciliation. You will become the key person for the rest of the team to ensure they have the skills, tools and knowledge to maximise the potential of the database.
- Effectively manage the Harlequin CRM database, working with the software provider to make changes where needed, to ensure the team are using it to maximum capacity.
Segment data for charity communications, including project updates, fundraising initiatives and wider appeals, for a range of audiences including individuals, corporates and groups and associations.
Actively identify and test assumptions and monitor trends to support the fundraising and marketing teams.

Happy to work flexibly across the team and to contribute to wider team demands as they arise
A self-starter, happy to work on own initiative with strong analytical and data interpretation skills and attention to detail
Demonstrable expertise in using Raiser’s Edge, Donorfy or a similar fundraising database, to a high level, including querying, importing, selecting and exporting data and producing reports.
In addition to managing the supporter database, your keen eye for detail will mean you are the go-to person for supporter insight, helping develop engagement strategies across all of our income streams to influence and shape the fundraising activities of the charity.
Hours and working patterns are not as important as your skills in data and your flexible attitude.
