Department: Data and Impact

Interview date: wc 7 December

Citizens Advice offers confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free. Through our national network of charities, we give people the knowledge and the confidence they need to find their way forward – whoever they are, and whatever their problem.

We particularly welcome applications from disabled and Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) candidates as BAME and disabled people are currently under-represented throughout Citizens Advice. We are a member of the race equality campaign at Business in the Community, the Prince’s responsible business network and are committed to improving employment opportunities for ethnic minorities across the UK. We also welcome applications from, LGB and Trans and non binary candidates.
We have made a positive commitment to employing disabled people and guarantee to interview all disabled candidates who meet the minimum essential criteria for the role as set out in role profiles.

We're looking for a researcher to join our Impact team as an Impact and evaluation analyst. As an analyst you will play a pivotal role evidencing the impact our services have for our clients, as well as for society more broadly. You'll work on a diverse range of evaluation projects, from an innovative new service designed to support banking clients in need of financial support, to looking into how our energy advice is being delivered during the current lockdown period.

You'll have the opportunity to play a key role in all parts of the evaluation journey from design to delivery and then dissemination. You will have the opportunity to gain skills in a wide range of research activities including designing data collection tools, conducting qualitative research and analysing data.

You'll also have the opportunity to support the team to share research findings with internal and external audiences, and to showcase the importance of evaluation and impact research.

If you are interested in pursuing or continuing a career in social research or evaluation, we would love to hear from you.

As a result of the current coronavirus situation all roles are based remotely.

The national Citizens Advice operates from offices in England and Wales, with 5 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Liverpool, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.

Please note in the event of a high number of applications we reserve the right to close the application early.
