37.5 hours per week on a Monday to Sunday shift rota

Wilhelmina House is a purpose built residential home situated on Park Hill Rise, just outside Croydon town centre and close to transport links. Home for up to 25 residents, Wilhelmina House has modern facilities, spacious living areas including a bright and airy conservatory, a beautiful secluded garden and en-suite bedrooms as well as a short term respite room. A dedicated activities coordinator provides a full programme of daily activities.

Our client is looking for a Deputy Manager to assist the Manager in the day to day running of the home. Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care plus previous experience of working in a Care Home and managing a team are essential.

This is an operational and leadership role.  The Deputy Manager is the lead carer in the home and is responsible for assuring the Home Manager that the care being delivered to residents is of the highest standards measured against key performance indicators (KPIs) and a robust audit programme.

In the absence of the Home Manager, the Deputy Manager is responsible for the management of the home ensuring the home continues to comply fully with all registration requirements.  The Deputy Manager is required to work collaboratively with all colleagues and key stakeholders including local community services to ensure each resident has a personalised care plan meeting their healthcare, emotional, leisure and spiritual needs.
