Do you have what it takes to influence business performance, oversee ambitious organisational development strategies and – in the process - shape the future of an entire industry?

Then you could fit in perfectly at JTL.

JTL is the leading work-based learning provider to the building services engineering sector, with an excellent track record in apprenticeship delivery and an impressive commercial training business.   To continue building on our success, we are recruiting a new Trustee to join our existing Board.

As you might expect, we are looking for a dynamic, business-minded individual who can contribute to the strategic development and direction of the charity. Working closely with your fellow Trustees, you will also use your experience and knowledge to ensure that the wider interests of the industry and its existing and future workforce are met. All applicants must therefore combine generic Board skills and understanding of good corporate governance and experience with a genuine passion for education and training.

Ideally, the new Trustee will have sufficient financial qualifications and experience to chair our Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.

Diversity and inclusion are core values at JTL and we welcome applications from all sections of the community to achieve a more diverse Board of Trustees. You must also share our strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. A DBS disclosure will be required.

These influential positions are unpaid but reasonable out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed. The role will require a time commitment of approximately 10 days per annum.
