Description

• Working closely with senior stakeholders throughout the organisation and across government to create a series of engagement events to enable you and your team to asses and plan the strategic approach of the upcoming changes to the organisation
• Creating and strategically planning content for external use to influence local and national policies
• Focusing on analysing trigger points and patterns to help mould and influence strategy planning

Profile

• A proficient communicator with strong editorial and analytical skills
• An ability to review complex information, pinpoint matters of confusion or misalignment across teams and take steps to address the situation
• Experience within strategic communications within a civil service setting ideally
• Able to produce and quality control impactful content across a number of communications channels for a range of audiences
• Comfortable in assessing a broad range of information both scientific and corporate in nature
• strong negotiator, with the ability to provide trusted advice, influence and negotiate with key stakeholders
• Able to work to tight deadlines in an ever-changing environment with no determinantal impact on quality of work
• A team player with an ability to work successfully across different team disciplines

Job Offer

This role is initially a 9 month fixed term contract with possible extension paying £38,000 - £42,000 per annum and will be based in London. Due to the current climate the role will be mostly remote working.
