TPP's Fundraising and Development are delighted to be supporting a new international non-profit organisation with the search for a Trusts and Foundations Manager. The organisation has a specific industry focus and works globally to form alliances with organisations across the industry with a view to using its collective power to deliver lasting positive impact locally and on a global scale. This is a part-time role and a 12 month fixed-term contract. You will be home-based for the duration of the contract.
Working with a new business focus as part of a small and dynamic team, the Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Manager will lead on the development of a robust pipeline of funding prospects, target proposals to funders with the potential to give over £20k and ensure that all proposals are written to the highest possible standards. You will own a personal income target of £350,000, and as the Manager you will contribute to the development and implementation of the Trusts and High Value Partnership strategy which feeds into the overall fundraising strategy.
Other duties will include:
* Nurturing of relationships with key trusts and foundations funders
* Undertake prospect research into new funding areas
* Development of a monthly application schedule of potential funders
* Regularly report to Senior Management on key issues and risks within the market
To be considered for this role you will be a fundraiser with a strong track record of raising funds for international development causes from Trusts and Foundations. Funders will be largely be UK, EU and US based but programmes will be overseas - of particular interest for this role are candidates who have raised funds for programmes based in Africa and/or South Asia. You will have a proven track record in successfully winning new business and ideally have experience in raising funds for livelihoods and/or youth employment.
