We are currently looking for two Grants Finance Specialists to join our Programme Effectiveness and Compliance (PEC) team. The Grants Finance Team supports the organisation by developing institutional donor proposals and delivering effective programmes.
In this role, you will support with the management of the budgetary, financial governance and compliance aspects across key corporate donor projects by:
- Providing efficient support across the project lifecycle, including contracting, delivery, reporting, audit and close-out
- Assisting with the development of programme and partnership delivery budgets, budget modifications and contract revisions
- Reviewing and consolidating donor financial reports and supporting the completion of due diligence assessments
You will have a solid background in accounting and working with accounting systems and ideally have previously worked in an INGO environment. You will need to have an interest in the sector and the agility to promptly pick up on donor specific rules, regulations and requirements related to budgeting, financial management, compliance and reporting.
You may be required to travel (when possible) for up to 15-20 days per year to Country Offices to support projects, therefore a Basic DBS check is required.
The two posts available have a slightly different focus but require the same skillset. Applicants who are selected for interview will be given further information at that stage.
