You will form part of a team of 5 Heads of Funded Services, with 3 already in place there are 2 further positions available.

With individual and collective responsibilities for teams that mobilise, deliver and improve our funded services, you will take the lead and be responsible for the management of services that are geographically dispersed throughout England and Wales and occasionally Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The team also plays an essential role in supporting engagement with our funders, and you will be an influential visible partner within both Citizens Advice, our operations division and as part of our external stakeholder engagement

You will have responsibility for a portfolio of funded services, with opportunities to contribute to our strategic aims by  improving how services are organised and delivered, often via our network of over 272 local Citizen Advice members. This includes internal collaboration to design and implement changes that achieve greater alignment and consistency in how we organise and manage our national delivery.

A strategic thinker, with the vision and capacity to think about the long term and future of funded services, as well as the here and now, you will be an exceptional people manager bringing the best out of your team, manage high level budgets and finance, lead on corporate strategies to improve funded services delivery and develop and mobilise new services or changed services into workable programmes.

With a demonstrable track record of leading and delivering a high quality, multi-channel client facing service across multiple locations, you will be an adaptable, accountable and ambitious individual, with the reach and impact to advance our services to deliver against our vision, mission and values at Citizens Advice. 

The National Citizens Advice Operates from offices in England and Wales, with 5 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Liverpool, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.
