Our client, a Multiple Sclerosis charity, makes sure people living with MS are at the centre of everything they do. And it’s this commitment that unites them across the UK.

Their work is based on the hopes and aspirations of the MS community. Together they campaign at all levels, fund ground-breaking research and provide award winning support and information.

Their people are their greatest asset and the key to their success. They offer a vibrant, progressive environment where you will make a difference.

About this job

In this role, you’ll transform and build a modernised, positive volunteering culture, experience and offer, for this charity's 3,000+ current volunteers, and those who will want to join them in the future.

You’ll help the charity to achieve greater diversity and a more inclusive experience for volunteers. You’ll understand discrimination and barriers to participation, and you won’t be afraid of challenging prejudice and holding courageous conversations.

With your strong background in volunteer management you’ll help the charity to strengthen volunteer leadership skills and capacity across the organisation.

The organisation offers 27 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

The organisation is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on their great history and will drive them towards achieving their mission and vision as they embark on their new 5 year strategy.

Part of this exciting transformation will include an office move from their current National Centre in Cricklewood, NW London to a different location in London. They are currently defining where and what type of accommodation this will be and they really want their staff to be involved in that decision.

Closing date: 9am on Wednesday 18th November 2020
