Healthwatch Cornwall is licenced by Healthwatch England and has statutory responsibilities through the health and social care act (2012) to ensure that services in Cornwall are delivered to as high a standard as possible.
Through public engagement, our team listens to residents and gives them a voice to share their feedback on public health and social care services, working with service providers to reflect the needs of residents through the services they provide.
This year we have delivered a number of exciting projects and reports despite the challenging circumstances, we are now in search of a new CEO to work with us to build on this success and lead us forward into 2021.
We are looking for an inspirational, diplomatic and charismatic CEO that will have a remit to deliver strategic leadership and operational management of the organisation as well as working collaboratively with the local sector and integrated care system.
This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to lead our organisation and be a part of helping to deliver positive change in health and care services in Cornwall.
Hours: 28 per week based in Truro (in the current climate staff are currently working from home but this is an office based role).
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 for 35 hours (pro rata equivalent £36,000 to £40,000) on a fixed term contract to end March 2024 (subject to external contract).
