COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKER

SCALE 9: £24,982-£27,741 per annum pro-rata

21 Hours Per Week

Springs TMC is seeking a part-time Community Development Worker to continue to deliver and enhance community involvement initiatives on Springs estate in Bury.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have experience of project delivery, have good motivational skills and have experience of securing external funding. They will have experience of promotion, developing and managing all aspects of community engagement and be able to support various activity groups and manage volunteers.

Purpose & Objectives Of The Post:

To devise and deliver a range of community development initiatives for local charity, New Springs Community Project Group, operating on the Springs estate in East Bury.

To provide appropriate support and advice for the volunteers, trustees and beneficiaries of New Springs Community Project Group.

To generate income for the charity through fundraising activities, the preparation and submission of grant applications and the generation of traded income.
