How would you like to be accountable for raising funds to enable Wishes that bring light and joy to a young person who is living with a life threatening illness and their family at a time of such uncertainty? This role allows you to do just this, and is an opportunity not to be missed.
  
As a Regional Fundraiser for When You Wish Upon a Star, you will be tasked with the exciting challenge of engaging with current and potential supporters to generate leads to raise funds. You will be required to develop and deliver plans for local fundraising, as well as engaging with corporate contacts – managing both existing relationships and working on new acquisitions. 

You’ll be responsible for recruiting, managing and motivating volunteers, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of When You Wish Upon a Star and are adequately empowered to fulfil their roles. This position is varied and exciting with scope to grow significant income.

To be considered for this role you should come to us with significant experience in raising income through various fundraising channels and have excellent knowledge of fundraising practice. Ideally, you will have experience recruiting and managing volunteers and possess an excellent understanding of how to create and manage an income budget. Confident, ambitious and innovative, you should be known for your ability to engage with a range of audiences and form relationships with ease. Most importantly you should be a trustworthy and honest individual with an unrivalled commitment to the work of this fantastic charity.

This role will require you to have access to your own vehicle as you will be working flexibly across the region.
