Spinal cord injured people are at the heart of everything they do – as Trustees, staff, volunteers, members and service users. For more than 45 years, they have empowered spinal cord injured people to rebuild their lives through the provision of essential information, advocacy and support. During the recent Coronavirus pandemic, the organisation has been a beacon of light for the 50,000 spinal cord injured people in the UK who are living day-to-day with paralysis, incontinence and a high risk of life-threatening conditions. With determination, flexibility and creativity they are responding to a significant increase in demand for their services.

Campaigns Coordinator
Hours: Part time 3 days per week (22.5 hours).
Salary: £16,500 (£27,500 FTE).
Location: Milton Keynes with flexibility to work from home.
Benefits: Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave per leave year increasing to 28 days after three years’ service and to 30 days after five years’ service. Access to group pension scheme (6% employer contribution).

The charity is looking for a passionate, dynamic and skilled Campaigns Coordinator to help them develop their critical work in campaigning for lasting change. Their vision is a fulfilled life for everyone affected by SCI and you will be on the front line in helping to deliver this. They need someone who can be part of a team and also work independently, who likes owning specific projects but can still see the bigger picture, and who’s willing to invest their heart and soul into fighting to make life better for SCI people, especially following the impact of the pandemic.

This key role has huge potential for the right person to deliver significant and long-lasting impact. Prior experience or knowledge of SCI isn’t necessary, as you will be fully trained and supported from day 1. Expect our client to build your experiences and knowledge into their campaigns, and use your input and ideas to help deliver high-impact campaigns that deliver significant, long-lasting results. The Campaigns Coordinator role is central to the success of the organisation's campaigning activities and delivering lasting change that supports people with a SCI.
