Spinal cord injured people are at the heart of everything they do – as Trustees, staff, volunteers, members and service users. For more than 45 years, they have empowered spinal cord injured people to rebuild their lives through the provision of essential information, advocacy and support. During the recent Coronavirus pandemic, the organisation has been a beacon of light for the 50,000 spinal cord injured people in the UK who are living day-to-day with paralysis, incontinence and a high risk of life-threatening conditions. With determination, flexibility and creativity they are responding to a significant increase in demand for their services.
