A large national children's charity are looking for a brilliant new Philanthropy Manager to help build up excellent relationships with donors across the North West and Cumbria. It is important that the existing very strong North-West portfolio is retained and the promising potential for further growth is captured. The organisation views major giving as a potential growth area and is therefore keen to attract a talented and ambitious fundraiser to take their income generation in the region to the next level.

This role is fantastic for excellent relationship fundraisers. This candidate will be contributing to the Fundraising division's purpose of maximising income from supporters and, crucially, potential supporters by carrying out effective fundraising activity. It is balance of looking after existing donors, as well as fanning out and seeking new potential leads too.

Although covering all of the North West (Cheshire, Merseyside, Great Manchester, Lancashire and Cumbria), the post will ideally be located with easy access to Manchester and Liverpool where the organisation's service provision, individual wealth and existing high value activity are all strongest.
