I am working with a famous UK legal membership body on a potential temp to perm HR Advisor role paying £18.13 basic per hour. The organisation is located in the heart of London and acts as an independent body that often protects the most vulnerable people in society. Currently the organisation has over 16,000 members across the UK.

This HR Advisor job is a generalist position where you will support the Head of HR in a wide range of duties. The main responsibilities include working on HR projects and supporting on employee relation cases when required. The payroll is outsourced but the HR Advisor will need to oversee the monthly payroll to make sure it is all correct, making changes when needed. This may also involve doing complex calculations, using both MS Excel and their HR system (Select HR). Furthermore, you will be involved in all recruitment and HR administration.

The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience working in HR and be confident in carrying out a wide range of HR duties. It would be beneficial to have worked for a membership body or non-profit organisation previously. You must be confident in managing any monthly payroll changes, so great attention to detail is essential. You will be working with different departments so the ability to build strong relationships is also key, especially as you will be working remotely until the end of 2020.
