Job title: Events Coordinator
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £27,500, plus benefits
Location: Milton Keynes (flexible home-based working available during pandemic)
Our client is a national charity that exists for spinal cord injured people, run by spinal cord injured people. For more than 45 years, they have empowered spinal cord injured people to rebuild their lives after injury through provision of vital information, representation, and support. This organisation is a truly inspirational place to work.
During the recent Coronavirus pandemic, the organisation has been a beacon of light for the 50,000 spinal cord injured people in the UK living day-to-day with paralysis, incontinence and a high risk of life-threatening conditions. With determination, flexibility and creativity they are responding to a huge increase in demand for their services, despite facing a £1m fall in income.
They are looking for an Events Coordinator to join their dynamically evolving fundraising team, to manage a varied programme of new and established special events. If you enjoy planning, organising, collaborating and influencing, then they could have the perfect job for you.
This charity is in the midst of transformational change. They already make a significant difference to the lives of people affected by spinal cord injury, but there is so much more they plan to do. They have ambitious plans to scale up their reach and impact which has already been accelerated by the current pandemic.
