ActionAid has an amazing opportunity - to come and work in our Individual Giving team as Head of Acquisition.

ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty. Our dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good. Equally important is a commitment to excellence in Direct Marketing. With natural strategic flair, and excellent numeracy, you will also have the ability to ensure superb quality in all aspects of operational management across the full range of supporter acquisition activity.

Our fundraising culture is supporter focused and every supporter matters, so you must be able to demonstrate an ability treat all supporters with transparency and dignity.

You will ensure that ActionAid is able to respond quickly and effectively in times of humanitarian crisis by leading on our cold emergency fundraising appeals.

In summary we are looking for an outstanding Direct Marketing professional with the talent and enthusiasm to transform the lives of the poorest, most disadvantaged women and children in the world, for good.

This is a maternity cover role, which will initially be a 10 month contract, with a view to extend up to 12 months.
